Apple IPhone 3G
3G Speed
With fast access to the Internet all over the world, the iPhone 3G allows you to do more in more places. It uses a technology protocol called HSDPA (high-speed downlink packet access), which means your email attachments and web pages will load up to 2.8 times faster. As the fastest download network, the HDSPA improves call quality and eliminates that hideous buzzing noise.
Now you can multi-task without connecting via Wi-Fi. The 3G networks enable simultaneous data and voice, so you can talk and browse at the same time. And if you’re in an area without a 3G network, iPhone connects you via GSM, allowing you to make calls and check your email from anywhere on the planet!
As if that’s not enough, intelligent iPhone power management technology gives you up to five hours of talk time. Without a doubt, that’s some of the best in the business.
GPS Maps
Whether you need to find a location, get directions, or check on traffic, the new iPhone can do it all! The A-GPS (assisted GPS) solution goes a bit further than standard GPS. Using a unique approach, it will find the closest satellites and identify your position much quicker.
When the phone can’t get access to a GPS satellite, it drops back to Wi-Fi triangulation, which uses nearby hotspots to figure out your exact location. And if you’re not in range of a Wi-Fi hotspot, the iPhone 3G finds you using cellular towers.
For added convenience, the GPS on iPhone is active only when you need it. That way, it won’t adversely affect your batter life.
App Store
By tapping into the App Store, you can browse a variety of applications, download them directly onto your iPhone, and then start using them right away. You’ll find applications in every category, from games to business, education to entertainment, finance to health and fitness, productivity to social networking.
These applications are nothing short of amazing, and some of them are actually free! They’re designed to take advantage of iPhone features, such as the Multi-Touch interface, the accelerometer, GPS, real-time 3D graphics, and 3D personal audio. Within fifteen minutes of activating your phone, you’ll most likely be playing with half a dozen of these apps.
Microsoft Exchange
In addition to all these new and exciting features, the iPhone 3G is also the best phone for business. It supports Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. This means users get all the benefits of push email along with secure access to corporate resources.
No other mobile device has a calendar application that’s as intuitive and easy to use as the iPhone 3G. Simply tap the screen to accept a meeting invitation, check scheduling conflicts, or review the agenda. Plus, color coding makes calendar entries easy to organize and view at a glance.
Price Drop
When the iPhone was first introduced to the public, many people admitted that they didn’t buy it because of the high price. However, now you will pay significantly less money and get more innovative, groundbreaking features. With that being said, the new iPhone 3G may very well be within your budget.
So take advantage of fast wireless connectivity, custom-designed applications, up-to-the-minute calendar, and a great widescreen iPod. If you’ve never had the privilege of owning an Apple iPhone, now might be the time!

Being an Incredible user, I can say the battery life is excellent. I went through a whole day and STILL had just under 50% remaining. The iPhone can’t even touch that.

Android wins again, across MULTIPLE platforms as opposed to the 1 phone that runs an exclusive operating system. oh and for all you iPhone fanboys, at least we dont have to modify our phones to get all those lovely features! :D

Jailbreak that iPhone 3gs and then redo this comparison… But I do have to admit, being a iPhone user, that HTC Droid does look pretty NICE.
